Jill Bolton

Jill recently retired from a 24-year career at the Disneyland Resort where for the last 18 years she served as the executive overseeing all of the resorts Corporate Citizenship efforts. She joined the Public Affairs Division as Manager of Disney Educational Programs in February 1994 and was responsible for implementing numerous educational programs with 27 local school districts and established strong relationships with the Orange County Department of Education and the California State Department of Education.

In 1998, her responsibilities expanded to encompass all of Disneyland Resorts Community Relations efforts overseeing all donations to the community and a variety of outreach programs, including the Disney Wish Program, The Disneyland Dreamers and Doers Program, Disney Volunteers and several country wide events including the annual CHOC Walk the largest fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Orange County. Jill was also responsible for the Global Disney Ambassador Program which began 50 years a goat the Disneyland Resort.

Jill currently serves on the Anaheim Family YMCA as well as the Festival of Children Foundation boards and in November 2017 was appointed for a second term by Governor Jerry Brown to serve on the California Volunteers Commission. Jill previously served on the boards of the Pacific Symphony, CHOC Foundation for Children, Anaheim MUZEO, UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts Dean’s Advisory Council, Project Tomorrow, Vital Link Orange County, and the National Conference for Community and Justice.

Jill has numerous awards including the Excellence in Education Award, the Festival of Children Founders Award, Spirit of Disneyland Award; the Golden Oak Award (National PTA), the President’s Volunteer Service Award, the Orange County Black Chamber of Commerce community service award and was nominated for the Orange County Business Journal Women in Business Award. She was also honored in 2008 as a distinguished Alumnus by the UCI Alumni Association and named by the Orange Country Register as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Orange County in 2014.

Jill is a long-time resident of Orange County, earned her B.S. in Psychology and an Education Administrative Credential from the University of California, Irvine, and a Masters Degree in Counseling and a School Psychology Credential from Long Beach State University. She also earned a certificate in Corporate Community Involvement Management from Boston College. Prior to joining Disneyland, Jill was employed as a full-time School Psychologist in Orange County, California.

Currently she is serving as a consultant in corporate citizenship to local businesses and non-profits in the community.
