Tis’ the season for Friendsgiving!

Tis’ the season for Friendsgiving! Four families who met at the Children’s Cancer Center when one child from each family was diagnosed with cancer have created lifelong friendships. The families met even though their children received treatment from different hospitals.

While their children were being treated they received emotional, educational and financial support from the Children’s Cancer Center. Through this difficult time, they forged a bond and now share vacations and holidays together.

There children are all in survivorship! During the pandemic this year, they decided to be together and stay safe in Northern Georgia where they shared Friendsgiving with one another. The Children’s Cancer Center is proud to offer support to children battling pediatric cancer and connecting families with each other!
