The holidays can be a very difficult time for those without permanent housing – especially for children. There are over 1.5 million homeless children in the United States, and a child’s chance of being homeless in their lifetime is 1 in 50. Sharing the Spirit Holiday Party provides a sense of normalcy for these children, and a chance to feel treasured and valued.
