Health Imperatives

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of low-income or vulnerable families and individuals in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Health Imperatives is a non-profit community based agency that provides vital health and human services to nearly 30,000 families and individuals each year from communities stretching from Quincy to Nantucket.

We operate our programs at multiple locations throughout the region, and all of our services employ a trauma-informed and client-centered best practice model.

These include:

Resources for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Sexual & reproductive health services.
Outreach, prevention, and education initiatives for other service providers and the general public.
Family Support Programs.
WIC Nutrition Program.
Support for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgendered, and questioning (LGBTQ) adolescents.
Primary care for adjudicated youth.
