The Mission of ChildLaw Services, Inc. is to advocate for the well-being of children by giving them a stronger voice through legal representation, policy development, and coordinated planning.
ChildLaw Services, Inc. is a law firm for kids. ChildLaw receives appointments for cases in both Circuit Court and Family Court in Mercer County; and gets appointed in Family Court cases in McDowell, Summers, Monroe, Wyoming, Greenbrier, and Fayette Counties.
ChildLaw embraces a multi-disciplinary approach to its representation of children, collaborating with numerous other organizations to provide services to children. Childlaw also coordinates programs in the community that gives a voice to youth like the Mercer County Teen Court, Kids Run the Nation, Youth Advocacy at the Legislature, and First Book.
As the need for services multiply, donations from individuals, corporations, and civic groups become increasingly critical.
