to allow these caregivers to stay at their child’s bedside during catastrophic illness.”
Our Commitment: We respond in 24 hours, when all other resources are exhausted.
Our Belief: By caring for the caregiver, we care for the child.
When no other resources are available, social workers at children’s hospitals across the country send
us urgent requests on behalf of single parent families in financial crisis.
We respond immediately and without additional paperwork because social workers have already verified the need.
The variety of requests range from essentials, such as food, transportation, utilities, and medications not covered by insurance to funds to protect a family from eviction or foreclosure.We welcome inquiries from social workers and families at info@andreriveroflife.org or (310) 276-7111.
