New Vista Career Academy recently partnered with The Mission Continues, a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact. Through a grant from the Tech Sgt. Jack Kushner Ret’d Foundation, Inc., we secured funds to purchase the school’s first flagpole and accessories. Our staff, many who are veterans, worked with The Mission Continues to dig the foundation and secure the flag pole. It was a very impressive and moving event for the school.
This project was led by New Vista Career Academy Program Director Marcos Villa and his staff, Renee Matagallegos, Nick Roach, and Bryce Corbin in conjunction with Andrew Ketchum at The Mission Continues.
