Gold Pacific Studios, Festival of Children Foundation Partner to Host Free Studio Recording & Writing Sessions in Nashville

Exclusive Program Offers Children and Youth-Focused Charities Hands-On Experience in a Professional Studio Setting

NASHVILLE – February 26, 2025 Gold Pacific Studios, a Nashville-based recording studio located in the heart of Berry Hill, and Festival of Children Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works year-round to improve the lives of children by strengthening the charities that serve them, announced today a partnership to host 10 free recording studio sessions at Gold Pacific Studios giving youth-focused nonprofit organizations the opportunity to access professional music recording and songwriting experiences.

“There’s something truly special about witnessing young musicians light up during their first studio recording sessions,” said Dan Ballard, general manager and lead engineer at Gold Pacific Studios. “Partnering with Festival of Children Foundation allows us to strengthen our community ties and provide studio access and experience to the next generation of talent.”

The evening’s highlights included the presentation of a posthumous proclamation by Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley honoring the late Tom Wilson. His legacy of leadership and compassion continues to impact countless lives, and his dedication was recognized in a moving tribute by founder and executive director of Festival of Children Foundation, Sandy Segerstrom Daniels.

Applicable charities and organizations will have access to the state-of-the-art Gold Pacific Studios Nashville, which can be used in two unique ways:

  1. Music Recording Sessions – Participants will have the opportunity to work with a professional sound engineer and/or producer to record music in a fully equipped studio. Whether an individual artist or a full band, up to eight-hour sessions will be available, including access to studio instruments. Each session will result in a professionally recorded product, including up to two songs available in CD or MP3 format.

  2. Songwriting Sessions – Organizations can utilize the studio’s upstairs writing rooms and common space for up to five hours. Designed to foster creativity and collaboration, these spaces are ideal for individual or group songwriting sessions, with accommodations for up to 10 participants. Studio instruments will be available for use, pending prior recording session bookings.

“The partnership with Gold Pacific Studios is an incredible way for us to deepen our impact on charities”, said Sandy Segerstrom Daniels, Founder & Executive Director, Festival of Children Foundation. “By giving children access to a world-class recording studio, we are opening doors to opportunities they might never have had – allowing them to develop skills, express their creativity, and create lifelong memories. This experience will not only inspire them today but also equip them with tools that can shape their future music careers.”
