The Center for the Performing Arts at the Woodlands

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman is owned by The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the community.

The Pavilion’s main focus is fulfilling the four pillars of our core purpose. In providing a diverse selection of entertainment, The Pavilion’s events include performances by the Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet, as well as contemporary acts by some of the biggest artists touring right now. Contemporary concerts are booked and promoted by our partner, Live Nation. Proceeds from these concerts, along with generous donations from corporations and individuals, are then used to provide guests the opportunity to be exposed to more classical forms of entertainment, like symphonies, operas, and ballets. Additional proceeds from our contemporary concerts help fund educational outreach programs and other community enrichment programs.

The Pavilion offers free mezzanine and lawn seating for all Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet performances, as well as free seating at the Star-Spangled Salute and Texas Music Festival Orchestra, making the arts accessible to everyone.
