The Orange County Chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management
Society Proudly Supports Festival of Children

About the Risk and Insurance Management Society
RIMS is a global nonprofit organization representing more than 3,500 industrial, service, nonprofit, charitable and government entities throughout the world.
Founded in 1950, RIMS brings networking, professional development and education opportunities to its membership of more than 11,000 risk management professionals who are located in more than 60 countries.

The Orange County Chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) was formed in 1976 to serve risk management professionals in the Southern California area. Our mission is to advance education, communication and professional ethics in the risk management community.

The monthlong Festival of Children will be held for the 20th consecutive year at South Coast Plaza during the month of September. This beloved community event shines the spotlight on the amazing charities we have here in Orange County, dedicated to the wellbeing of our children. It also draws attention to the fact that September is National Child Awareness Month where all attention should be on fulfilling any lack the children in our communities may have that hinder their ability to attain their hopes and dreams.

Visit the chapter’s website at www.ocrims.org for events and happenings. For more information on RIMS, visit www.rims.org.

Community outreach is a major focus for OCRIMS; our chapter annually collects donations for one local charity. This year we are proud to participate with Festival of Children Foundation in their mission to “Improve the lives of Children by Strengthening the Charities that Serve Them”.
